Obituary of Judy Gallant

GALLANT, Judy – age 72, of Belnan /Middle Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully in Braeside Home for Special Care, Middle Musquodoboit on April 13, 2017. Born in Belnan, she was a daughter of the late Urban and Susan (MacDonnell) Gallant. Judy enjoyed music and cake on any occasion. Judy was a special woman to her family and caregivers and she had a strong will. She is survived by her brothers, Maurice (Patricia) and Leonard (Beverly); many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Muriel, Frances, Marie, Helen, Leo and Daniel. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Monday, April 17, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A Funeral Mass will be 11am, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, Father Michael Walsh officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church basement. Donations in memory of Judy may be made to Corridor Community Options for Adults 21 Convent Road, Enfield, NS B2T1C9 or St. Bernard’s Church.
