QUIGLEY, Garry Robert - 63, West Indian Road, passed away at home surrounded by family on January 17, 2013. Born in Waverley, he was the youngest son of the late Robert and Florence (Keefe) Quigley. Garry will be remembered for his strength, courage and his love of life. He loved hosting his family barbecues and making his famous macaroons. He enjoyed classic country music, especially Carroll Baker. Garry enjoyed his career as a truck driver. He shared his love of hunting with good friends Carson and Ben. He is survived by best friend and the love of his life Shirley (Bond), daughters Priscilla (Philip) Scott, Truro; Jennifer (Kevin) Gorman, Sackville; Amanda Quigley, Amherst; Candace Quigley (Ben Boutilier), Cole Harbour; son Albert Quigley, Dartmouth; grandchildren Michael, Alex, Phillip, Amy, Cody, Zachary, Hayden, Austin, Amiyah, Richard, Michael, Matiya, Kaden, Makayla, Jaxon, A.J., Danila, Carl and Chloe; sisters Joan (Gary) Floyd and Judy (Clyde) Hillier, both of Halifax; brothers Lorne (Susan) Marlin, Maitland and Murray Quigley, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his close friends Andrew and Ladd as well as his extended family. Garry was predeceased by his youngest son, Gordon, brother Raymond "Butch" Marlin. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 6-9pm today, Saturday, with funeral service 2pm, Sunday both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Mr. Brian Curtis officiating.
