Becky, Amanda and Families,
Your father was a wonderful friend and neighbour to Carl and Doris and after Carl’s passing he always made sure that Doris was plowed out after a snow storm. He was a wonderful man and a great source of wisdom to Nicholas and Evan when it was launch time for the “Katie Belle” and they thought a lot of him and were very grateful for all of his help. He was one of a kind and will definitely be missed. Cherish your memories and know he will always be with you.
Brian, Wanda Densmore and family.

To Becky and Amanda, and your families;
You have lost a great dad and granddad, and I have lost a great friend. Billy and I have spent a lot of time together over the years; I have many memories of him. He was one of those people who I could rely upon to drop by for a lengthy chat. He did a lot of installations of a plumbing nature around the barn; he was a great fixer upper.
I miss his visits in the fall, on the way to the woods to go hunting, and on the way back to let us know what he saw. He really liked getting those bear pictures and the big buck pictures. He was very successful as a hunter, and often shared out the bounty. He loved the woods and river and he was always busy. He sure wasn’t one to sit around.
He was very proud of his family, he talked about you and Donelda all the time; he really enjoyed watching you grandkids excelling in sports.
He did a lot of good things for a lot of people. We sure miss him.
Havey & Chris Whidden

Our Sincerest Condolences to all at this very difficult time.
Billy will be absolutely missed by his family and his many friends.
His life was a positive example of kindness, caring, tireless productivity and support for his community, asking nothing in return.
He was a positive mentor to all that he touched.
Gardening along with the love of fishing in the Stewiacke and Shubie rivers was always his passion.
Thank you Billy for your positive example and love for your family, friends
and community.
The incoming tides will never seem the same without you. Rest In Peace

Brian and I send our condolences to Bill’s family; this is such a sad time and great loss to you and the community of Stewiacke where everyone knew Bill. We were fortunate to have met Bill through our close friends, Susan and Sandy, and through our love of curling. We have wonderful memories of Bill’s planked salmon dinners, but mostly of our trip to Scotland. Bill was such a fun part of our trip, where we all made lifelong memories. Bill will be missed.

Becky, Amanda, Lloyd and Families...
So sorry to hear about Bill...he was such an icon in Stewiacke. I was fortunate to have spent many years with Bill in the Stewiacke Fire Department, especially with our fundraisers of Maple Syrup and Pancake suppers and ofcourse, the big Planked Salmon suppers. We've had many laughs over the years and much fun and comraderie, along with education on the fish in our local waters.
My honor to have known him...he's gained his wings...XXX

Amanda, Becky and family my sincere condolences on Bills passing. Always with a smile and a quick joke, his dry sense of humour will be missed. I have been aquatinted with Bill for many years in different capacities . Years ago Bill was often a driver for. Clare when she would come and visit. I observed how Bill was extremely gentle and diligent in his role as taxi driver and the good natured banter between the two. Good memories. Sending hugs to all

Amanda, Becky, Lloyd & families
We remember Billy back in the late 70’s while in conversation getting ready to jump in the van and take off to one of the local farms or to the grocery stores to fix coolers, air conditioning or freezers, he was always on the run
Bill had a quiet demeaner, but always had a smile on his face and enjoyed a good chuckle and Conversation.
We hope the wonderful memories that you share over the weeks and months to cone bring a smile to your face and comfort in your heart.
Thinking of all of you.
With Deepest Sympathy
