Obituary of Elaine Karita Paul
PAUL, Elaine Karita -age 81 years of Indian Brook/Millbrook, passed away peacefully at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on June 17th 2021. Born on March 18th, 1940, Elaine was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Destele) Beaudette.
Elaine was a devoted, kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Elaine loved long scenic drives, the beauty of nature and fishing with her late husband of 53 years, she also loved keeping her yard full of beautiful flowers and trees, she had a passion for elephants and also a collector of them. She loved going to church, listening to her music. She took a lot of pride in her home and kept it immaculately clean. Her heart was golden and the love of all her children is unmeasurable. May we remember her smile, and she be blessed and greeted by angels, and may they lead her back to her one and true love, her husband and may they walk hand and hand looking out for their children.
She leaves behind 8 children 5 daughters and 3 sons, Sandra Lee Paul, Lorrie Ann Syliboy (Peter), Richard Luke Paul Jr., John Peter Paul (Carrie), Christine Mason (Dudley), Colleen Paul (Calvin Sr.), Lisa Marshall (Toby), Greg Paul (Nicole); 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Luke Paul Sr., brother, Robert Beaudette; great granddaughter, Brielle Sack and great grandson, Kyler Paul .
The family would like to thank Bernadette Ellsworth for her loving care she gave to her and nurses, Suzette, Farrah and Nicole and many others.
Visitation will be held 4pm Friday, June 18th at 58 Marshalls Lane, Millbrook until time of service at 2pm Monday, June 21st at St. Kateri’s Church, Indian Brook, Father Ron Cairns officiating. Interment will be held in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village. All events will adhere to the current COVID 19 protocols.
