Obituary of Lillie Crossman

CROSSMAN, Lillie Evelyn - 97 Truro, formerly of Lower Selma passed away Friday August 16, 2013 at the Mira, Truro. Born in Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Ethel (Gorman) Davis. Lillie was a homemaker all of her life. She was an excellent cook and loved to quilt and read. She cherished visits from friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Glendon) Laffin, ON., sons, Jim (Louise), Joe (Lisa), both of Lower Selma, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, brother, Ralph Davis, ON., sister Velma White, Kennetcook, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, grandson Kevin Crossman, and granddaughter Azelle Laffin-Huren, brothers Martell and Kenneth, sisters Irene Barron, Rita Conley and Laura in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday August 20, 2013 in Selma United Church Cemetery, Rev. Roger Moore officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Selma United Church Cemetery or a charity of choice.
