Obituary of Peter Anthony Bernard

BERNARD, Peter Anthony – age 55, of Indian Brook, passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on March 3, 2022. Born in Campbellton, NB, he was a son of the late Martin and Regina (Copage) Bernard.

Peter was employed in the family construction business, working with his father.

Peter is survived by his son, Matthew James Julian; daughter Samantha Bernard; two grandchildren; brothers, Martin Bernard Jr., Robert Bernard; sisters, Charlotte Bernard, Linda Bernard; Step-mother, Mary Lou Bernard; step-sisters, Janice Paul, Vanessa Copage; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9pm on both Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.

Funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, March 7, 2022 in St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Phil Thibodeau officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
