Obituary of Elmer Arnold

ARNOLD, Elmer Lloyd, 77-Fort Ellis, passed away Saturday December 7, 2013 in Elk Court, Brookfield with his family by his side. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Fred and Ivy (Cove) Arnold. Elmer was a loving man who always enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an accomplished welder, retiring from the Department of Lands and Forests in 1996. In his spare time you would often find him puttering in his garage, welding, or rebuilding a lawn mower. Forever in our hearts, he will be sadly missed by his wife Reanie (Nowe), daughters, Donna Arnold (Ivan), Truro and Brenda Arnold, Halifax; grandson, Jason (Jennie) Miller, and their children, Kelsie and Cameron, all of Bedford ; granddaughter, Lacey (Phil) Daigle, and their son Dakota, all of Halifax ; brother Billy (Margaret) Arnold, Amherst; sister Ruth Curran, Lower Sackville; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private service will be held at a later date. No flowers please, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
