Obituary of Gordon Lester Singer

SINGER, Gordon Lester – age 82 of Georgefield, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Georgefield, he was a son of the late Albert and Nora Singer.

Gordon loved working both as a woodsman and later on as a watchman for Shaw’s. He really looked forward to his outings with his niece, Kelly where they would go for drives, out to eat and to visit friends. He will be deeply missed by all.

Gordon is survived by his sisters, Mary Billard (Clarence) and Lottie O’Leary; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Rex, Albert, Raymond and Wade; sister, Barb Burns.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request.

Donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
