Obituary of Robert Burden

BURDEN, Robert Melvin, 70 - Stewiacke East, passed January 11, 2014 at home in Marilyn's Country Haven, Stewiacke East. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Sam and June Burden. He was raised by his grandmother Stella Levy, whom he loved dearly. Norma and Gordon Jenkins played a major role in his life. He served 25 years in the Canadian Navy. He was dearly loved by the Amero Family, who adopted him into their lives many years ago. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by many cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Ronald. A funeral will be held 11am Friday January 17, 2014 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie, Pastor Elvis Amero officiating. Spring interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
