So very sorry to hear of Michael's passing. We always enjoyed seeing him at the lake while stopping for a chat and catching up on what his news was since we last met.
He left us far too soon.

Mikey was my oldest friend. We lived a house apart in #2. We started exploring the area by the time we were 5 or 6. I remember throwing rocks at wasp nests up behind the convent on 11th street with him when I was in kindergarten or grade primrary. He's a fixture in all of my earliest memories. I saw him most days up untill we were 18 or 19. He was a great guy. Awesome sense of humor. Wild man on a dirt bike. The last time we spoke was a year or more ago. I wish it had been more recent. Condolences to the family.
You'll be missed Mike.

Mikey, you sure knew how to make me, and everyone around you, laugh and feel welcome. It has been a while since I have seen you last but when I think of you I am left with a smile on my face. There are lots of memories from driving around in the Jetta, Effies Store, swimming at One B shore, and hanging in Halifax going bar hopping in our younger days.
I still giggle when I think about the time you were in my kitchen and kept questioning and making fun of me with your dam sarcasm about how I have frozen juice but nothing to make it in. We laughed hard but more at the fact when we finally realized to empty out the water jug and used that. This really was one of those things you had to be there to get but we were and we got it at the time and we laughed hard.
Lots of great times my friend,
Rest In Peace xo

“The sky lit up and the choirs sang, a thousand voices as the church bells rang” one of last tunes we shared little buddy ❤️ Oh how we enjoyed the many many summer jams ❤️ I will forever miss those days. You had a heart of gold, a sense of humour like no other and a smile that lit up the world! I always felt you were more like a little brother to me than a cousin! From the days way back babysitting you and Terri on eighth street, to our many summer visits back home, to the many trips back and forth to Ontario we made, to the nights and days we shared our home with you in Ontario. We will forever remember the happy times filled with so much love and laughter! Our hearts are so broken but we console ourselves in the fact that there’s a heck of jam session in heaven today! Please give a big hug to Nan and Duce Wrice, Nan and Papa Morrison, Maddie, Trish, Theresa, Fabe, Jenn, Nancy, Joey, Silvia, Kevin, Donnie, Scott, Michele, and last but not least Lenny and Aunt Moolie .. (sorry if I missed anyone) but safe to say little buddy you had a cavalcade of angels awaiting! We will miss you so much Mikey, forever remembered with so much love, Mar, your buddy Gerard, Nikki Drew and Sam xo❤️

Anyone who has had the pleasure of calling Mikie a friend knows what a big loss his passing leaves in our hearts-just crushing. He was loyal, honest (sometimes brutally), way too much fun and had a great, quick sense of humour laced with deadpan sarcasm. He loved nature, loved hunting, and truly cherished his family. Work had him traveling across the country, but we tried our best to stay close across the miles. I'm going to miss catching up on his adventures and really miss creating new memories with him. My deepest condolences to Jenn, Rita, Donnie, Terri, and to all his family and friends. This world needs way more Mike - rest in peace bro, love ya.
