WEST, Lorne James - 72, Milford, passed away in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Harry and Etta (Kellough) West. Lorne used to work on the family farm. He also worked for Endale Industries in Hants County. Upon moving to Truro he worked for The Rotary House Colchester Community Workshop. Lorne enjoyed playing hockey and baseball and was always a Montreal Canadians fan. He is survived by brothers Ralph (Winnie) West, Truro; Arthur (Myrna) West, Milford; Roy (Zorka) West, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2pm, Saturday, March 22 in
Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Lori Crocker DM officiating. Reception to follow the service. Spring interment in Gays River Cemetery. The family wants to especially thank the staff of Townsview Estates for the splendid care they gave Lorne.
