Obituary of Harold Parker

PARKER, Harold Ross "Gandy" - 85, Halifax/Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully May 12th in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Shubenacadie he was a son of the late Isaac and Hazel (Moore) Parker. Most of his life he was employed as a truck driver and lived in Shubenacadie and Halifax. He also worked on farms and in the woods. He is survived by his children Fran, Ken, Reg, Ben, Wally, Bertie and Heather; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers Ernest, Hilden; Cecil, Brookfield; and Roy, B.C.; sister Elsie, ON. He was predeceased by brothers Arnold and Carl, sisters Helen, Gladys and Vella, Cyril and John in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.
