On Feb 20 2014 - Our sweet loving husband & father has gone home. He was in his 98th year. Born March 10th 1916 to the late Mary Alice Rood (GRAY) & Henry Irving Gray, of New Glasgow N.S. followed by His son Robert./ brothers Charlie & Allan Gray. He will be missed by his loving wife Dorothy Hazel ((Phillips) Gray of of 71 years, son Allan (Donna)of Campbell River B.C. Daughter Norma Jean DeWolfe (Mark) of Victoria B.C. , daughter in law Penny (McIntyre) Gray of Windsor Ont,5 beautiful grand children, & 13 Great Grandchildren,
Harry attended Kings Collegiate school,1933 Acadia University Windsor N.S. Graduated as a industrial Engineer from Dalhousie University Halifax. 1940 was Chief planner At Canadian Car Foundry aircraft division where they built the Fleet Finch, Hawker Hurricanes & Avro Ansons
1946 moved to Brockville Ont. & worked at Phillips Cable. Harry was a Scout leader & in 1950,he joined 25,000 scouts & Franklin D Roosevelt to Celebrated the National Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge Washington. Harry was a Free Mason Sussex Lodge 5 . Brockville
In 1953 Moved to Windsor Ontario where he was Engineer for Ford Motor co. until his retirement in 1980. Moved to Victoria B.C. to be closer to his Children & Grandchildren He loved his flower Garden and his Labradors who were CFC &AFC Champions. Dad you will always have a special place in our hearts.
The family will be bring son & father home to lay at rest at Little Harbor (the shore) this summer.
