Obituary of Vera Georgina Dillman

DILLMAN, (CAMERON), Vera Georgina -72, Old Guysborough Road, passed away peacefully January 9, 2015 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with family at her side. She was born in Meaghers Grant to the late Gordon and Edna (Phillips) Cameron. Vera and her husband Charlie loved to travel in their classic 1950 Ford to attend car shows and to just enjoy the scenery. She enjoyed bingo, card games, and old time music, especially Don Messer. Vera loved animals, would feed the birds and take in stray cats. Vera always welcomed visitors and no one left her home hungry. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survived by her loving husband Charlie; children Doreen, Audrey (Kevin), Gordon (Lorelei), Paula (Doug), Tammy (Allan); eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Donnie (Lillian) Cameron, Reuben (Helen) Cameron; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Darryl, brothers Jerry and Reg. Funeral arrangements under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. No visitation or funeral service by request. Vera's family would like to thank all of the people that assisted in her care over the past few years.
