Obituary of Hector Isenor

ISENOR, Hector Eugene - 73, Dartmouth, formerly of Elmsdale, passed away May 14, 2013, in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Elmsdale, he was the son of the late Roland and Ivy (Keyes) Isenor. Hector enjoyed camping, watching hockey and loved children. He and Dianna fostered children for 15 years. He worked for Moffatts in Ontario and Hoover Canada when he moved back to Nova Scotia. Hector was a caring, giving man who helped his friends. He was a loving husband and primary care giver to his wife of 53 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Dianna, sons David (Angela) Isenor, Milford; Stephen Isenor, Tatamagouche; daughter Darlene (Gary) McNeil, Milford; grandchildren Justin, Chelsea, Talisa, Stevie, Randy, Michael and Nathan; a great granddaughter Linley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Leslie, Robert, Fulton, Donald and Ira, a sister Joan. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8, Thursday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie with funeral service 3:30pm Friday in Christ Anglican Church, Lantz, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating.
