Obituary of Donna Lena Marie Langille

LANGILLE, Donna Lena Marie- age 55, of East Jeddore passed away peacefully on January 24, 2017 in the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Lena (Baker) and the late Robert “Bob” Langille. Donna would help anyone who asked. She had a heart of gold. She was very independent and strong willed and fought her illness right to the end. Donna was a “Jack of all Trades” with many skills - anything from changing the engine out of a car to planting a tulip garden, from renovating a house to repairing electronics; she could do anything she set her mind to. Left to mourn are her mother, Lena Langille; sisters; Debbie (Ed) Lively, Tracy (Willie) Nickerson; brothers, Ricky (Sandra French), Joe, Bobby (Debbie), Harry (Lisa Cole), Trevor (Michelle); many nieces and nephews; very special cousin, Tina; step daughter, Belinda Sutherland- Turpin; and a large extended family. Donna had a very special bond with her nephew, Billy Turpin. Besides her dad, she was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy; sister, Edna; nephews, Richard and Joseph. Visitation will be held 6-9pm Friday, January 27 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, from where a funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, January 28, Rev. Catherine MacDonald officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home hospitality area. Spring interment will take place in Sand Hill Cemetery, Nine Mile River.
