RHODDY, Perry Sr. - 79, Enfield, passed away at home on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Born in Simpsons Corner, he was a son of the late Elvin Rhoddy and Frelove Eisan. Perry was a bartender at the Halifax International Airport for over 30 years. He is survived by sons Perry (Dara) Rhoddy, Enfield; Michael Rhoddy, Enfield; and daughter Janet (Gary) Cameron, Ontario; grandchildren Dereck, Tara, Crystal, Holly, Cory, Marsha and Matthew; 7 great grandchildren, brother Emery Rhoddy, Enfield; sisters Mary Fancey, Enfield; Vinola Drew, Lunenburg County; daughter-in-law Terri Rafuse, Halifax; son- in-law Gilbert Sutherland, River John; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Janet, son Howard, daughter Ivilla, brother Elvin, sisters Greta and Esther. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. At Perry's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Perry.
