FORBES, Kenneth Francis - 87, Enfield, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2013 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Mary Forbes. Ken is survived by his wife Lorraine of 64 years, and seven children David (Marlene), Joseph (Nancy), Judith (John) Mason, Catherine (David) Kennedy, Jerome (Heather) Horne, Kenneth, Jeffrey (Natasha) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As an active member of Saint Bernard Parish, Ken was one of the first lay ministers of the Eucharist. Throughout his career, Ken was employed with Department of National Defence, Department of Transportation and as Duty Manager at the Stanfield International Airport. Ken was predeceased by his brother Maxwell and sister Hilda. Funeral Service 2pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, 253 Highway 2, Enfield, Father Andrew Rembarczyk officiating.
