WHIDDEN, Barry Lorne - 64, Lantz, passed away March 27, 2013 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Elsie (Cox) Whidden, Oldham and the late Roy Whidden. He retired from the Shaw Group after 38 years with the Pipe plant. He enjoyed darts, cards and was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Elmsdale. He is survived by his wife Winnifred (Dillman), sons Troy (Rhonda) Whidden, Calgary and Todd (Lisa) Whidden, Enfield; grandchildren Ethan, Caden, Caleigh and Cassie; sister Debbie, Edmonton. He was predeceased by his twin brother Blaine Whidden. Visitation 2-4 pm, Sunday with funeral service 2pm, Monday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
