CANTFELL, Allan John - 75, Dutch Settlement, passed away March 14, 2013 at home in Dutch Settlement. Born in Dutch Settlement he was a son of the late Chester and Jean (Isenor) Cantfell. Allan was a welder and worked in Halifax for G.W. Mills, FABCO and Industrial Engineers. He enjoyed horse racing, bird watching and was a great marksman with the B.B. gun. He owned several powerful cars and they had to be Fords. Allan is survived by sisters Jean Kirkham, Lee (Bob) Frosst, Colleen (Vince) Ashley, Helen Ashley, Joanne (Raymond) Campbell; brothers Eric (Rowena) Cantfell, Robert (Valerie) Cantfell, Jake (Jamie) Cantfell; sister-in-law Marilyn Cantfell; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Keith Cantfell and Kenneth Cantfell, brothers-in-law Harold Kirkham and Leonard Ashley. Cremation has taken place.
