Obituary of Debra Doggett

DOGGETT (Hiltz), Debra Ann - 59, Gays River Road, Shubenacadie, passed away March 11, 2013 in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born on January 19, 1954 in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Henry C. and Eileen (Madden) Hiltz. Debra was employed in retail and was proud of her work with the mentally challenged. She loved horses and was a Therapeutic Riding instructor whose students enjoyed success in the Special Olympics. She will be sadly missed by her husband Angus, daughter Michelle (Edwin) Fraser; son Martin Forsyth; granddaughters Jessie, Gillian and Maddison; sisters June Davis, Mary (Garth) Scott and Helen (Rick) Chance. She was predeceased by brothers Frank and Kenneth Hiltz. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Thursday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A grave side service will be held 3pm Friday in Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of both the ICU at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro and the 6th floor at the VG site, Halifax for the wonderful care of Debra.
