PECKFORD, James Harris - 75, died peacefully February 1st, 2013 in QEII Health Sciences Centre with his family at his side. Born October 25th, 1937 in Port Union, N.L., he was a son of the late William and Lavinia Peckford. Jim grew up in Gander, N.L., before moving to Elmsdale in 1984. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of many years, Lillian (Hyde) Peckford; son Grant (Vanessa) Peckford; grandson Devon; brother David and sister, Shirley. Jim was predeceased by his brothers Angus and Arthur. Interment will take place at a future date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
