Obituary of Brian Winston Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Brian W.- age 63 of Lower Economy, formerly of Saint John New Brunswick, passed away peacefully February 15^th after a 10 month struggle.

Born in Amherst, March 20^th, 1956, he was a son of Helen (Carter) Gallagher and the late Winston Gallagher.

Brian worked with Irving Oil, Saint John, for 30 plus years before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed sports and was a coach for minor hockey and baseball for many years. Brian took pleasure in ATV trips with Robert and trout fishing. He loved summers at his trailer in Lower Economy. He loved animals especially rescue dogs and left behind his beloved dog Lady.

Brian is survived by his mother, Helen; brother Bruce, of Lower Economy; sons, Paul and Scott, daughter, Heather; also, family in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A graveside service will take place in Economy Cemetery, at a later date.

The family would like to extend their many thanks to the VON, as well as the Advocate and Parrsboro Care Centres for their excellent care.
