Obituary of James Martin Sack

SACK, James Martin “Jimmy Doodle” – age 64, Indian Brook, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2020. Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Freeman Sack and Annie (Googoo) Brooks.

Jimmy Doodle loved Elvis Presley. He had a great sense of humour and could always get people laughing. He was a great storyteller even though all of his stories may not have been totally true. He was famous for his “Doodle Clap”.

Jimmy Doodle is survived by his sister, Mary Jane Brooks; brother, Gilbert Brooks; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lyn Sack.

Besides his parents, Jimmy Doodle was predeceased by brothers, Peter, Leo, Carl; sisters, Beverley Sack, Catherine Willis, Gloria Jean Sack in infancy.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Visitation will be held beginning at 1pm Friday, July 3, 2020 at 583 Church Street, Indian Brook until 10am Saturday, July 4th, funeral Service will  follow at 11am in St. Kateri's Roman Catholic Church, Father Ron Cairns officiating.
