Obituary of Albert Murray Isenor
ISENOR, Albert Murray, age 80, of Elmsdale, passed away peacefully April 24, 2020 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Dutch Settlement, he was a son of the late Charlie and Verna (Ashley) Isenor.
Those who knew Albert knew the attention he focused on the fine details of anything he undertook… and will always be remembered by those who knew him, for his kind heart, sense of humor and generosity. He was a refrigeration and air conditioning electrician and was known and respected for the quality of his work. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Elmsdale Fire Dept. for a few years. Albert loved working at his garden and was a skilled woodworker. He always took pride in his property and was known for keeping an immaculate lawn. Albert always looked forward to Saturday afternoon "meetings" in the garage with his brother-in-law Aubrey. He was easy going and loved to tell a joke or two. Albert loved his family immensely and was dedicated to them.
Albert will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ellen (Brown); daughters, Annette (Garnet) and Angela; grandsons, Stefan Mills, Brandon (Raph) and Ryan Findlay; great grandchildren, Jerel, Brookelyn and Meredith; sister, Rosina “Sis”; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Darrell “Brady” and Lester.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a graveside service will be held in St. George’s Cemetery, Dutch Settlement at a later date.
