Sorry to hear of the passing of the man I knew as" Mr Dingle".Growing up in Shubenacadie i spent a lot of my allowance and summer hay money buying tackle at his shop. I also remember my parents coming home with bass and shad from him and sitting down having to scale them. Our thoughts and prayer are with you. Michelle, Pat, Jim, and James Kelly.

Our hearts go out to Sharon, Chris and Diana and family. Memories, where do I start. We were welcomed into the Dingle family in 1982 when I arrived on my horse to board at their stable. Sharon and I used to ride on such long rides and Don, my husband, and Bill would head to the races. Back then it was Onslo Speedway, Bible Hill, Antinogish and NB and eventually Scotia Speedworld. Picture of Don and Bill sitting at the speedway in the snow, in video. Race nuts for sure. Don and Bill enjoyed many years of going to the races together, sharing lots of laughs and rooting on Scotty. We would get together for our Boxing Day Bashes and Bill even roped Don in to helping at the Shubie Bingo. That was an event all unto itself. From dropping in for a visit at their Sporting Goods store to sharing the stress of the horse shows together they really felt like an extended part of our family. We went to the odd local dance together and still remember Bill's boot stomping moves. Bill had such a great sense of humour and a big heart. Always willing to step in and help with the community. When it thunders we will know it is Bill dancing up a storm. Bill, you will always be in our hearts and memories. Love and condolences to Sharon and family. Hugs xoxo
