I’m so sorry to hear of Mona’s passing. She was a good friend. We played darts together and had many good laughs. I spoke with her several times while she was in the hospital. So sad that She wasn’t allowed to have visitors. She always had a positive attitude. She will be missed♥️ Jan Grandy.

I was shocked to learn of Mona's passing. i did not know that she was ill. Mona and I have partnered in many a crib game. She will be missed, she was a wonderful friend and confidant. My deepest sympathy to the family. Debbie L. Etter

Mona was a cherished member of the Prospect Road Seniors who met weekly on Wednesdays at the Whites Lake Legion. Mona became a very proficient dart player. She enjoyed the game but mostly the comradeship with the members. I’m sorry to say that I was unaware of her hospitalization. Mona will be sorely missed. She and her family are in our prayers. This sure was a shock to see when I checked the obits. I didnt know she was in the hospital. I certainly would have gone to see her. I met Mona through playing cards. She was my partner many times. I enjoyed talking to Mona. We bonded because we both shared some of life’s trials. I admired her sewing skills and her independence. My sincere condolences to the family. May she Rest In Peace. I hope to get to her memorial service when it is held.

I am shocked and so saddened that I didn’t know of her illness. No opportunity to visit and help her during this awful time. I just can’t believe it. She was such a kind person and good friend when I lived in Stewiacke. We visited and planned to “do something” together when Covid passed. My very deepest condolences to her family. A terrible waste of a kind person still young with many years to yet enjoy. Rest In Peace Mona. Barb Grant, Dartmouth

I owe my mother so much, her sense of humor, honesty to a fault, her simple loving innocence towards life. She raised me to be fiercely independent like her, to always walk with honour and courage. She will be missed and remembered. I love you Mum, rest now
