Thank you so much Dawn for calling & telling me about your mother. Lynn & I met well over 30 years ago. I have many good memories of her. She was a wonderful cook & many times I sat at her table & had a nice, home cooked meal. She loved animals & was always rescuing stray cats. She even helped to deliver a liter that my cat had while I was at work & took one to add to her collection. Her door was always open to many who dropped in to have coffee & daily chats. We travelled with her pets in tow to her mother's place in Maitland where we were welcomed with open arms, wonderful home cooked meals, home made everything. Always lots of story telling taking place.
Lynn always loved gardening & volunteered tireless hours at Sally's greenhouse. We always stayed in touch with each other all these years even if it was only a 5 minute phone call to say hello. My last words to Lynn as she now rests is thank you for being a friend all these years. We managed to get through the good & the bad together.
May you forever rest in the arms of Jesus.
