Obituary of Rebecca Elizabeth Weimar

WEIMAR, Rebecca Elizabeth -age 58 of Enfield, passed away peacefully at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre, Halifax on October 4^th, 2020.  Born in Calgary, Alberta, she was a daughter of the late William Marvin and Eva Lillian (Tibbitts) Butler.

Rebecca is survived by her son, Justin; siblings, David (Mei), Marva (Dell), Ruth, John (Mia), William (Daylene), Eva (Chris); several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rebecca was predeceased by her husband, George, “Kit”.

A visitation will be held 6-8pm on Friday, October 9^th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Covid-19 provincial restrictions will apply; masks are mandatory. Please respect social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rebecca’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks for the compassion, kindness, and respect given to Rebecca and her family by the staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre.
