Obituary of Olivia Viola Creelman
CREELMAN, Olivia Viola-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Olivia Viola Creelman on December 10, 2020. I, Amanda Creelman, gave birth to Olivia at the IWK Health Centre on March 24, 2020.
Olivia was young but had a huge spirit that touched everyone she met. She loved cuddles with mommy, peek-a-boo was a favorite of hers along with bath time and outside adventures. She was a happy and content baby who was loved by all. In recent months she started chatting up a storm with some words developing rather quickly. She was smart and had shown strong determination to learn. She truly was our little angel.
Olivia loved her big brother, Carson. They both shared a common love for the outdoors and being adventurous. Uniquely bonded as siblings, 13 years apart, yet so much alike. I was a proud mother of my little family of three. The most recent memories we shared is a pair of pink shoes that her brother had bought as soon as he had learned of her arrival. With the holidays approaching, I started playing a song called “Christmas Shoes”, a family favorite. Days into playing her this song, Olivia reached for her shoes on her dresser, sat down on the floor and tried to put them on. I was shocked but super proud. She didn’t leave her socks on so this was kind of out of the ordinary for Olivia. Every day was a different day. She was one of a kind.
Carson will hold this particular memory close as it is a meaningful expression of Olivia’s love for her big brother and the pride and bond, they shared with one another and shows how smart she was. Carson eagerly awaited the day she would fit into her shoes.
I am going to hold on to all the love she offered Carson and I in her 8 short but full months. Olivia would not want us sad. That would be her wish.
