Please share a memory of Jack to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

SACK-LEWIS, John “Jack” Bernard- age 23 of Sipekne’katik, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2021.

Jack was born in Halifax to Sandra Sack and William “Bill” Lewis on January 24, 1997. Jack attended Shubenacadie Elementary and LSK.  He  loved fishing, four-wheeling, hanging with his friends and learning about his culture. Jack was so devoted to his family and friends. He always wanted to see you happy, and see you smile. He was always up for an adventure, whether it be going for a drive, going for a walk or just trying something new. He was fearless, stubborn and reckless, but that’s what made him Jack and that is why everyone loved him. He was very kind-hearted and was so quick to apologize if he thought he hurt you in any way. His smile and his energy were so contagious. As soon as he saw your face, his would light right up. He would do anything for those he cared about. Jack made such an impact on so many people’s lives and will be deeply missed by all.

Jack will be sadly missed by his grandmother, Shirley Sack; mother, Sandra Sack; father, William “Bill” Lewis; sister, Alyssa Lewis; brothers, Ryan Sack, Alexander Sack-Redden; special siblings, Dakota, Adria and William; nephews, Bentley, Easton, Angelo, Shawn; Aunty Violet; special uncle, Bo; godchildren, Mia and Aryiz; godparents, Chris and Marie Sack and many aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Violet Lewis; grandfather, Alexander McDonald Sr.; uncle, Bobby McDonald; aunts,  Joanne MacDonald, Anne McDonald, Mary Elizabeth Sack, Jennifer Hill and Donna Lewis.
