Obituary of Murray Smith

SMITH, James “Murray”- age 60 of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 1^st, 2021 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.  Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late James and Nancy (Moore) Smith.

Murray was known to be very selfless; he always cared about others more than himself. He enjoyed puzzles, knitting and always loved to get out for walks. Murray will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Russell (Anna), Viola (Kenny), Nina, Gordon (Jane); several nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Irene, Donna, Victoria and June; brothers, Daniel and Keith.

A public visitation will be held 6pm-8pm Thursday, April 8^th, 2021 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.***Please note that the graveside service that was originally planned for May 6th has been postponed due to COVID-19 gathering limits at this time***
