To the MacDougall Family, I send condolences as you grieve the loss but celebrate the life of your beloved patriarch..The MacDougall family has been part of the fabric which makes Riverside Corner and West Gore such wonderful villages in which to thrive..Although I did not know your branch of the family personally, I was born in West Gore to Mildred Bruce MacAskill and James MacAskill and I grew up in Kennetcook..West Gore tugs at my heart strings from my home in Bayfield, ON..The people of West Gore (I think of Marion MacDougall and her sisters and Audley and Annie MacDougall)were all so lovely to my late mother and me during our visits in bygone years and I miss all of them..Blessings to all who love James MacDougall..Sincerely , Dawn MacAskill Cumming.
