FRASER, Wayne Richmond- age 78 of Belnan passed away suddenly at home on July 1, 2021. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Richmond and Helen (Isenor) Fraser.
Wayne was a life long dairy farmer, working from an early age right up until his last day. He enjoyed card games and playing darts. He loved visits from family and friends and enjoyed watching hockey. Wayne was the caretaker at the Sandy Hill Cemetery since the 1980’s.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Gail (Custance) Fraser; children, Edwin (Michelle), Leigh (Kim) and Kathleen; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Prokopowich; brothers, Leigh and Allan (Gail); several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by infant son, James and in-laws, Beulah and Gordon Custance.
A funeral service will be held 1pm Sunday, July 4th at the family homestead, 1351 Highway 214 Belnan; Rev. Kim Curlett officiating.
