As one of the young MLTs in Microbiology Lab at the MacKenzie Building, Halifax, during the mid 1980's, Liz always looked out for us and we developed into knowledgeable microbiology technologists, especially in anaerobic bacteria and the HACEK organisms! Her love of Microbiology inspired me to acquire my ART in Micro and I always think of her. Will always remember Liz's smile, her singing & humming of songs in the Lab where she would insert various organism's names! Liz would always tell us to "Creep on Smiling!" and we did. All levels of persons in the lab respected Liz. Truly wonderful memories. My condolences, Geraldine Cooper Lesins
