So very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I came to see Larry a little over 4 years ago to buy a piece of land. I was convinced I would never get a mortgage and so a 7000 dollar piece of land seemed the next best option for my horses. Larry gave me some solid financial advice and directed me to a mortgage broker after contacting her first on my behalf. He was genuinely empathetic and caring. If it were not for him we would not be in our home. We now have a nice little rancher with a few acres of land. Our deepest condolences to Peggy and family. He was a very special person and I'm sure will be deeply missed by many.

Larry will be greatly missed. I was a young, newly single, terrified mother many years ago. Larry assured me I would be fine and helped me to buy a house for myself and my two small children at the time. I remember crying my eyes out and he just told me " You have got this little Mama, don't ever let anyone tell you that you don't". He hugged me with his big ol' bear hug and went on his merry way. Over the years I have often reached out for advice on many things and he always happily responded and helped when he could. He helped change my life more than he ever knew. My children are now happy and grown. They loved that house and our home. Thinking of you Peggy, Natasha and Kim and the entire Hants Realty team, family and friends of this wonderful, kind human. Where to begin? Almost 16 years ago Steve & I met Larry when we moved here to NS from Alberta. He was the realtor who handled the sale of our first home & first cottage here in NS. He was more than our realtor, he became our friend, our go to for answers regarding this and that Nova Scotia. If i didn't know who what when where are why i just called or dropped in to see Larry. He always had time to answer my questions. Right up to about a month ago i was still contacting Larry asking this and that. We will always remember Larry as a real gentleman, an honest man, a kind, generous and funny man. A great story teller and a man like no other. We will surely miss him dearly. Carry on your great story telling in heaven dear friend. Condolences to you Peg and family. Larry will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Hugs........Steve & Joan Mercer
