Obituary of Jane Burness Brown

BROWN, Jane Burness -age 75, passed away peacefully at Elk Court, Brookfield, Nova Scotia on June 28th, 2022. Jane was preceded by her parents-James and Sophia Brown and sister Linda Brown.

The Advertisement Business was Janes' career. Based out of Toronto she travelled the world and brought back stories of places and people she encountered to family and friends. Jane had a love of books and known to start and finish one in the same day. Being an athlete herself she followed tennis, golf, hockey and football.

Jane with her sisters, Lorna and Linda were passionate with their politics with heated conversations between the three of them or with the TV as they were watching events unfold! Special moments for Jane were when she was fishing the lakes in Ontario with friends.

Jane is survived by sisters, Mary Flumiani (and family); Anne King (and family) and Lorna Brown (and family).

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request.
