I'm so sorry for your loss! I was very sad to hear of her passing and my heart goes out to all who were close to her.
I had the privilege of getting to know Joyce when she worked in our lab at BIO between 2013-2015. We also had some fun adventures outside of work!
She was such a hard worker, very organized and when in the field, and in the water, she was in her element! She was great at anticipating needs and the first to volunteer to try something new. She also had the most beautiful hand writing so I often made her write on our white board and the calendar in the lab (hehe!). She set the bar for many of the following students/employees for me and not many have reached it since.
She was a wonderful person and I will cherish the memories I have of her!
