Obituary of Ross Elroy Dillman

DILLMAN, Ross Elroy – age 80, passed away peacefully on December 4^th, 2022 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Antrim, he was a son of the late Victor and Gertrude (Dunlap) Dillman.

Ross was a dedicated,  hard working man, at a young age his first job was working in the woods. Later on, he received his trade as a mechanic which became his primary career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards.

Ross is survived by his companion of 24 years, Judy Mackenzie; son, Victor (Donna); 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ross was predeceased by sons, Shawn and Vernon; sister, Joyce; brothers, Floyd and Hughie.

Visitation will be held 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday December 7^th, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where a funeral service will be held 11am Saturday December 10th, 2022,   reception to follow. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Antrim
