To the Harvey family, It is with great sympathy that we hear of Phyllis's passing. We as part of the Kelley family from Three Mile Plains lived next door to the Harveys for a lot of the early years. Many stories could be told about their experiences as neighbors. We enjoyed various sports together baseball, skating, and the odd rock fighting. Growing up in the Plains was an awesome time and we learned how to respect our neighbor Mrs. Harvey as we called her back in the day will be sadly missed. My most vivid memories of Aunt Phyllis (and Uncle Rollie) is her standing on their porch waving to us on the train as we either came into or left Nova Scotia each year. And of course, visits to see the horses! Thinking of all my extended family at this time. ❤️

So sad to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a sweetie for sure. She was a lot like her Aunt Evelyn (Laurie’s mom ) Phyllis and Rollie use to come to our farm to the Burgess family reunions and we all use to have a good time sitting under the Ash tree and telling stories. My dad and your dad were great friends . I have often wondered if they had worked together back in the day as my dad was older then yours. Your dad had stories to tell and I loved it. Sending big hugs. Keep all those wonderful memories close to your heart.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Phyllis. To stop n chat or have lunch and on occasion overnight the Harvey house was always welcome to me. Always in good mood and smiling will be how I remember your mom. Hugs to all family. Terry Osborne
