Obituary of Brian Stanley Ehler

EHLER, Brian Stanley – age 67 of Elmsdale. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loved one. Brian left us on February 7^th, 2023 at 3:20 pm in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, after battling several health issues and with his daughter, Jessica by his side.

Born in Halifax, Brian was a retired pipefitter from the DND in Halifax after 37 years of service. Aside from his family, Brian's greatest passions were playing poker and golfing with his brother, Roger and their friends.

Brian is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pam; daughters, Jessica, Cindy, Thea; sons, Carson and Timothy; brothers, Roger (Linda) and Glenn; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Marguerite and Frank Ehler; sister, Deborah Ehler; brother, John Ehler.

A huge thank you to his children, Jessica and Carson, who stepped up and helped to care for him in between hospital stays. Special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at both the Truro and Halifax hospitals. Also, thank you to Doctor George Burden who cared for Brian for many years.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale. There will be no service as per Brian's wishes.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
