Our families have known each other a lifetime. I can remember in the summers my father would set up our old tent so some of us neighbourhood kids could sleep out, this would be around 1966 to 1968. Little did our parents know sleeping was not what was ever going on. Allan always seemed to know where the best gardens were to raid. My family would usually have great salads for the next week, they only had to cut off the half eaten parts of the booty. That is only one lasting memory of many we had as children that I will always cherish.
We were truly sorry to learn of Allan's passing. He will be missed.

My memories of Allan come from my years with the Forrests in minor hockey. He was warm, kind and funny and always made kids feel good about themselves. I have the same feeling now whenever I am lucky enough to run into Chris. Thinking of Shawn, Chris, Michelle and their families.

I was blessed to have known Allan growing up and spent many days listening to his jokes on car rides to hockey games, eating grilled cheese and then playing Sega! He was a great husband, Dad and hockey coach. He was one of a kind and will greatly missed by all who knew him, as he always left a lasting impression on people. Praying for Shawn, Chris, and Michelle and your families along with extended family and friends.
Sincerely,
Scott Carroll
