Sending sincere condolences to Kim, Bruce, Tammy and family in the loss of your dear mother. Also, to the siblings of Yvonne and their families in the loss of your sister.
I have very fond memories of the Doughwright family as we grew up together and interacted with each other often; especially Sylvia, Mary, Robert and Derek. Yvonne was one of the 'older' children who hung out with my older siblings, especially Marie & Kathy but lots of good times had by all in those days.
And later I got to know Yvonne's children through the Guiding movement and volunteering at the Enfield Legion; and I remember them being such kind, caring people which is a testimony to their mother Yvonne's nurturing ways.
And later I connected with Yvonne through facebook, and so enjoyed her daily uplifting and positive posts and pictures. Whenever I see roses I think of her and I hope it will bring you all comfort to know the positive impact she had on so many lives. Cherish your memories, as I do.
I was not able to attend the service today due to a prior commitment but please know I was there in spirit.
