Obituary of Blanche H Myers

MYERS, Blanche Helen – age 91 of Lantz, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Milford Station, she was a daughter of the late Amos Cecil and Jessie (Densmore) Dalrymple.

Blanche was an amazing seamstress and she loved to quilt, play scrabble and solve crossword puzzles. She was an awesome cook – no one left her house hungry. Blanche loved her family and her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Blanche is survived by her children; L. Kirk (Carolyn), Keith (Shirley), Jane (Barry); grandchildren, Bernadette (James), Kirk (Amanda), Dana, Kirby (Skye), Adena (Mark), Matthew (Shannon), Craig (Dawn), Stephanie (Dave); great grandchildren, Drew, Cash, Kirk, Summer, Abigail, Regan, Halle, Camden, Lucy, Reese, Rowan; aunt, Olla Fougere; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; daughter, Helen; son-in-law, Larry; several siblings.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Elmsdale and Shubenacadie. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and the staff of the 3rd Floor for their care of Blanche during her time there.
