Hello, My name is Marian and I worked with Dale at the Lantz Group Home. Dale was a kind and generous person. He loved the two cats that lived with him. He was funny and we had many laughs together. The people who lived with him at the group home, missed him very much when he moved away. Eddy said that he missed him very much when he moved. Josh worked with him at the workshop and said that he enjoyed talking with him. Chris remembers how he helped him at the workshop. Jim remembers waiting in the kitchen with him to have a coffee. Wilma was very sadden to hear of his passing. She whispered to me that "he was her ex-boyfriend".

I am so saddened to have just heard the news of Dale's passing. My deep and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. I became acquainted with Dale while he was living in the group home in Lantz, where my son Josh lives. His bedroom had a view of the hallway where people traffic was never missed by his watchful eye and welcoming smile. He shared his day to day life with me whenever I inquired and I can only hope that he appreciated the interactions as much as I did. The value of my life really is about the special people along the way and Dale was certainly one of those people to me. Dalyce Holman

Dale was one of a kind. He truely was a beautiful soul who enjoyed everyone and would make you feel better just being in his presence. His love of cats spilled over to CCOA where he brought a stray, our beloved kitty Moe, to live with us for many years. He spent many hours working in our wood room where his work ethic and team spirit brightened everyone’s day. You will be missed my friend but your wonderful smile will live on and continue to brighten our days. To the family, your loss is great and my heartfelt condolences to you all.
