Obituary of Dale Martin Dalrymple
DALRYMPLE, Dale Martin – age 53, of Dayspring, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Truro, he was a son of Debra (Miller) and the late Arthur Dalrymple.
Dale loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays, playing cards with Danny, whom Dale claimed was a cheater, and playing practical jokes on the nursing staff at Riverview. Dale made friends easily and had many fond memories from his time at Corridor Community Options for Adults where you often heard Dale and Brian planning out their next tattoos. Dale was a great big brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
Besides his mother, Dale is survived by his sister, Kelly (Ken) Hurshman; nephew, Greg (Katelyn); nieces, Malory (Colby), Hilary (Taylor), Olivia; great nephews, Brian and Nathan; great nieces, Emily and Madison; best friend, Danny.
Besides his father, Dale was predeceased by his brother, David, in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Thursday, October 26th, 2023, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 860 Highway 2, Elmsdale. A private burial will take place at a later date.
