Jimmy was one of the most easiest down to earth men I have ever met. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything, a guy you could be yourself around, have a real good laugh, a cold beer, and especially a coffee from Tim Hortons.
Our family will miss you and your random visits stopping in to see us, I’m gunna really miss that because not to many people do that anymore, sometimes it’s the only way see one another, I feel like jimmy new that too.
Carly, our youngest, will miss you the most, you always made a point to give her piggy back ride and make her laugh and tickle her, made her feel very special, again you new you made side kick for whenever you stopped in, she would always come running.
Will miss you uncle Jim

My thoughts and prayers remain with all of you as you journey through this time if grief. Sylvia, I remember back in our CU days, loving the stories you shared of "little Jimmy" and his Dad tending and riding their horses! I hope, in time, your grief will be lessened by the beautiful memories Jimmy left for all of you.
With prayer and love,
Maureen R.

When we were younger Jimmy and I were part of the same church and attended many youth group trips together. One memory in particular comes to mind. One year when we attended a youth group event we went to an arena and we were doing sports activities and having a meal to refuel. This year in particular I was really looking forward to swimming but forgot my suit so I couldn’t participate. None of the other sports interested me so I was just walking around for a bit looking very bored. Jimmy and his brother Randy found me and brought me to where they had set up pizza and pop etc. and we all had a big feast and hung out until it was time to leave. I felt bored and alone before Jimmy noticed me and decided to change that, which was a part of his kind nature to not leave anyone out or down. And is just one of many fond memories from our childhood and youth I will remember. Also top of mind is the year we had a horse drawn sleigh ride around Mrs. H’s and Jimmy was driving us. Rest In Peace my friend you will be missed. My deepest sympathy prayers and condolences to the whole family.
