Ian, Janice, Susan and families: It has been a long road and you have have made that journey as gentle and happy as possible for Jeanne. We have so many memories of good times with you and our whole family. Family meals, sing-a-longs. Also your visits to Clarenville when the kids were small and family picnics. We remember especially our frequent wing nights; Jeanne sparring with Rick, book discussions and recommendations.
When our kids were older and we were away, our boys knew that they were going to uncle Ian’s and aunt Jeanne’s for Sunday dinner. Jeanne was a fabulous cook. When you moved to Halifax, the tradition continued. David would never go through without a visit and when Brian was at university the Sunday dinners were part of his week. Your welcoming home was always there for our family and friends, and even friends and relatives of friends at times! One could always be counted on to be welcomed at your door or picked up at the airport and subsequently treated to a wonderful meal prepared by Jeanne. We will always savour these good memories. Jeanne you will be truly missed.
