Obituary of Frank George Morash
MORASH, Francis George “Frank” – age 73, of MacPhee’s Corner, passed away suddenly at home on May 26, 2024. Born in Goffs, he was a son of the late George and Bertha (Nowe) Morash.
Frank was a professional truck driver and equipment operator his entire life. He was able to operate any piece of machinery. He worked for many businesses and finished his working career at DOT after 25 years. Frank was known for his ability to modify things to better suit his needs.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda (Bond); daughters, Regena (Jamie) Armstrong and Rhonda Fleet (Bug Turple); grandsons, Justin Isenor (Jocelyn), Cpl. Fleet (Tyler) (Josey) and Jeremy Armstrong (Kenzie); granddaughter, Megan (Scott) Hunter; great grandchildren, Annabell, Cara, Clay and Oakley; brothers, Edward (Pat) and Willard (Janet); sister, Florence (Gordie); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by sisters, Hilda Fredericks, Helen Beaver, Irene Scott, Maude Thompson and Jean Scott; sister Margaret and brother Terry in-infancy.
Visitation 6-8 pm, Thursday, with a funeral service 11am, Friday, May 31, both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Reception to follow in the funeral home hospitality area. Interment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Nine Mile River.
The family would like to thank all the First Responders, including EHS, Fire personnel and RCMP for their professionalism and kindness on Sunday.
