Obituary of Patricia Ann Miller

MILLER, Patricia Ann – age 74, of Hardwood Lands, passed away peacefully on July 3^rd, 2024, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Georgefield, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie (Clarke) Singer.

Pat worked at the Royal Bank of Canada for 39 years. Throughout her life she loved spending summers at the cottage in Cooks Brook, family get togethers, vacations and spending time with her loved ones especially her grandsons. Pat was a volunteer for the Hardwood Lands 4H club, the Girl Guides movement, the Hardwood Lands Community Hall, a charter member of the Hardwood Lands Junettes WINS and was an elder in the Hardwood Lands Presbyterian Church. Pat was a true friend to many and had a love for her closeknit community along with the neighbors she shared it with.

Pat is survived by her loving Husband, Cecil; children, Stephen (Katrina), Amanda (Troy), Anita (JC); grandchildren, Gabriel and Quinn; many siblings, nieces and nephews; best friend, Joyce.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her nieces, Tammy and Jennifer.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.

Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Saturday July 6^th, 2024, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A Funeral Service will take place at 2pm on Sunday, July 7^th, 2024, at the same location. Rev. Beth Mattinson officiating. Burial to follow in the Hardwood Lands Cemetery.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the ICU nurses and doctors, of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, for their care and compassion.
